Trouver un moyen de vérifier que les connexions avec les autres serveurs XMPP sont fonctionnelles, pour éviter les panne de fédération XMPP qui passent inaperçues pendant plusieurs heures : https://status.chapril.org/incidents/51

Je viens de découvrir ce service de supervision XMPP ouvert à tout le monde : https://observe.jabber.network/
Il suffirait d'indiquer le domaine chapril.org et indiquer une adresse email où recevoir les alertes.

Ce serait à utiliser en complément de notre supervision, pas en remplacement.

Le service proposé par observe.jabber.network me plait beaucoup, et il serait cool d'y participer en leur mettant à disposition un compte XMPP. D'autant plus qu'ils cherchent des instances qui ne soient pas sous prosody.

Ping accounts

If you want to help improve this service, we are currently looking for ping accounts.

In order to improve the effectiveness of the ping service, we need more accounts to send XEP-0199 pings from. If you can provide an account which fulfills all of the following criteria, please get in touch:

  • The account must not be used for anything else.
  • The account must not have any rate-limits affecting logins, or the rate limit must allow more than 16 logins per minute per source IP.
  • The account must not have any rate-limits affecting IQ traffic applied, or it must allow more than 16 IQ request/reply pairs per minute.

Avant de les contacter il faudrait déjà voir si on sait définir une config ejabberd kivabien© pour pouvoir fournir un tel compte.
